The impacted area is meticulously cleaned. This usually involves removing debris and moisture from the crack or chip to ensure the repair materials adhere properly.
We use a high-pressure tool to apply a special resin to the damaged area. This resin is designed to fill the crack or chip, restoring the integrity of the windshield. The type of resin used can vary, but it is typically a clear, strong polymer that bonds with the glass.
After the resin is applied, it needs to be cured, usually with ultraviolet light. This process hardens the resin, ensuring it bonds strongly with the windshield and restores its structural integrity.
The last step involves a detailed inspection of the repaired area. Windshield repairs are guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle, so if a repair later develops a crack, we will deduct the cost from a windshield replacement.

That said, in most cases, the windshield’s appearance is significantly improved. For added peace of mind, should a crack later develop at the same location, the cost of the repair will be credited toward the windshield replacement, including for insurance claims.
