We can probably repair a windshield if the damage is no bigger than a $1 coin, is not in the way of the driver’s line of vision, and is located at least 4 cm from the rim.
A windshield replacement is the way to go if:
- the damage extends to more than 3 points of impact or if it consists of a crack bigger than a $1 coin
- the damage is an impediment to the driver’s line of vision
- the damage is located less than 4 cm from the rim

Can my windshield break into pieces?
It is improbable because the glass of the windshield is protected from breaking into pieces due to the laminated glass and the polyvinyl butyral plastic compound it is made of.
Is it possible to have more than one impact repaired?
A limit of three (3) impact points can be repaired. In the event your windshield shows over three of them, this means that its strength could be jeopardized. For safety purposes, a windshield replacement will be necessary.
